Sage - Homesick - Pegasus - Empyrisan

Where to start...~Empyrisan is one of those artists that I try to commission about once or twice a year and its always worth the wait.

Sage is my primary OC and the subject of many headcannon stories not set in Equestria like many of the rest of the MLP spawned pony oc's of the last few years. Actually Sage was created after this one group created an oc for me, then stole it from me saying I couldn't publish it anywhere except their site. So I took my colour scheme and recreated her in the midst of the freshly spawned MLP: FiM fandom, and Sage was born true this time.

Sage is part of race of quadruped sentient beings who, through the use of magic and then technology, have found a way to transform themselves into bi-pedal anthromorphs. The purpose of this process was to give them similar characteristics of the other space faring races and the manual dexterity that having opposing digits allows (as relying on unicorns and mouths to move and assemble things just wasn't cutting it, not to mention the need to fit in other species vessels and stations). Now a space-faring race themselves, they have integrated into the galactic community, with the same needs for space defense, commerce, and industrial facilities that everyone has to deal with. As a result, all young adult members of her race must spend time transformed in order to satisfy the needs of her species by working in outer space. Some prefer this form to their original. Some, not so much.
